Welcome to the home of Florida's Newest Half Marathon -

The Orange Blossom Half Marathon!

Run through the foothills of Orlando in what was once the heart of Florida's Citrus Growing Region. Weekend activities include a Kids Marathon, 5K Run, Half Marathon, and a waterfront fitness festival. The half marathon course has to be one of the most beautiful in Florida, taking runners out and back along Lake Dora's scenic Lake Shore Drive. All weekend activities are based out of Wooten Park in Tavares.

5K Run - Out and back course on Lake Dora Drive

13.1 mile Half Marathon - The course starts with a 5K loop followed by a 5 mile out and back course along Lakeshore Drive from Tavares to Mount Dora.

Do to a scheduling conflict, the Orange Blossom Half Marathon will not take place in 2010. Plans are already underway for its return in the Spring of 2011. Watch for details in late summer!
